Violinist Erin Aldridge Headlines the 2026 Season

Erin Aldridge

The Northshore Philharmonic Orchestra is thrilled to welcome acclaimed violinist Erin Aldridge as guest soloist for our 2026 summer season. Dr. Aldridge will perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto in D major—one of the most lyrical and dazzling works in the entire violin repertoire.

Dr. Aldridge has just completed her 20th season as concertmaster of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, and serves as Professor of Violin and Director of Orchestras at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. A familiar and beloved presence on Northland stages, she is an artist we are honored to feature.

Surrounding the concerto, the program opens with Rossini’s beloved Overture to William Tell, from its lyrical introduction to its famous galloping finale, and closes with Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, a sweeping and triumphant masterpiece that rises to one of the most stirring finales in the symphonic literature.
